I am very thankful for the nurses on the Cortland Unit for their caring attitude with my mother, especially during the times when she is less than cooperative due to her dementia. The nurses have also taken time to talk with me amid their busy routines when I have concerns, questions, or just need an update.

Working at Sodus has given me the opportunity to work with a great team. Out team strives together to give our residents the best care possible. I would recommend anyone to work here because we all have the same goal in mind, whether we are direct staff or not, which is quality care for all. I enjoy being a nurse at Sodus Rehab and Nursing Center because I am able to work with a wide variety of patients/residents of all different ages. Over the years, I have gotten to take care of several generations of residents from the same family and get to know them on a personal level. My favorite thing about being a nurse: I love working with residents! I love the connections that I have made at Sodus in the last 5 years. I love our residents and the staff that I get to work with. It gets hectic but there is not a different group of people I would do it with.
